New Publication by Jim Frankel and Tom Rudolph!

I am thrilled to see a new book recently authored by good friends and TI:ME officers Jim Frankel and Tom Rudolph, titled YouTube in Music Education. YouTube has a variety of uses for the music classroom and this book gives you many ways to utilize it in your classroom. In addition, it provides music educators a resource to try to convince administrators to unblock YouTube in the school. It also discusses copyright and how to make your own videos to post on YouTube. To read a full review, click here. My school recently unblocked YouTube on the teachers’ computers so I am excited to pick up this book and to use it in my classroom!

Wow. This book seems to be so interesting and useful. Thanks for sharing the god news - I’d grab a copy too. I am sure that I would get from here lots of useful and effective piano teaching resources as well as fun ideas for more creative activities in the music classroom. Music and piano teachers like us need such resource where we can develop and modify our music teaching strategies. Thanks again and more power. I know that I would eventually say: YouTube in Music Education is a YES, two thumbs up! I’ve been quite excited in having my own copy. Have to get it now, online. Til your next posts. See you!
