This month’s Music Education Carnival is being hosted by David French of Tanbur Music Education Blogspot. The carnival is divided into four categories: Music Pedagogy, Music Performances, Music Technology, and Other. There are some excellent articles this month. One of my favorites is Claire Burns’s Using Audacity to Have Fun With Folk Dances posted at Learn Me Music. I had not thought about using Audacity’s tempo effects as a teaching tool for students to experience various tempos while folk dancing.
