It's great to hear that podcasting has also beneficial contribution to elementary students.

@ Scott

I really had a great time listening episode 19. The melodies are mesmerizing.

Hi Scott!

I adore your podcast on "WHAT MUSIC MEANS TO ME." I first heard it when Jim blogged about it a few months back.

I agree. Podcasting is a great teaching tool and a wonderful way for your students to create episodes that relate to the curriculum.

Sincerely,
Amy

I LOVE podcasting and see it's many benefits to music education - both for students and teachers. I haven't used it as much as I'd like, but you can hear some episodes by my high school Music Production class at;

Next year my goal is to have them do episodes bi-weekly....we'll see!?! Personally I've caught the podcasting bug and really enjoy producing episodes on topics that I'd be presenting in class anyway. My podcast, WHAT MUSIC MEANS TO ME, is at:

You can also find it (and subscribe to it) at the iTunes Store.
